Suggested paragraphs to copy: I've recently become aware of a terrible injustice in which a man named Temujin Kensu, at the age of 22, was convicted of murdering someone when he was literally hundreds of miles from the murder scene. He has now spent over half of his life in prison for a crime he did not commit! A group called Proving Innocence has taken up his cause, as well as others, in their attempt to free those who are wrongly convicted and change the system so that this happens less and less. If you go to this link, it will take you directly to the page where you can read and watch videos about this case and then take some action by writing the Michigan Governor and sign a petition. You know I don't ask you to do things like this very often and I would really appreciate it if you would take 5 minutes and check this out. Your involvedment could make a real difference, especially if you will tell others about it, just as I'm telling you. You might also consider registering with Proving Innocence's site, ProvingInnocence.net. Right now they are primarily focused on Michigan cases, but the are looking to eventually be nation wide! Thanks for considering this. Your friend . . . . End of suggested paragraphs. Whatever you chose, thanks for being a part of our effort to exonerate the wrongfully convicted.
