Multiply Your Efforts by Spreading the word!

Making your opinion known to Govenor Granholm and other legislators is a great first step! You can really help your voice to be heard by sharing Temujin's story with your friends, pointing them to this website and encouraging them to add their voices by taking the same actions you did. Together we make more of a difference!

There are two main ways that you can share your concerns about Temujin with others:

1-If you have up to 4 friends with email addresses with whom you want to share this, you can simply click on the link below, which will take you to a page to accomplish this. Since this is specifically about Temujin, you may copy and paste the suggested paragraphs below to reduce your time, if you wish.

2-If you want to let more of your friends, family and acquaintences know about us, it will be easier for you to simply copy the suggested paragraphs, go to your personal e-mail account where all your address book has all the email addresses, and write a personal message utilizing all or part of the suggested paragraph.

I've recently become aware of a terrible injustice in which a man named Temujin Kensu, at the age of 22, was convicted of murdering someone when he was literally hundreds of miles from the murder scene. He has now spent over half of his life in prison for a crime he did not commit!

A group called Proving Innocence has taken up his cause, as well as others, in their attempt to free those who are wrongly convicted and change the system so that this happens less and less.

If you go to this link, it will take you directly to the page where you can read and watch videos about this case and then take some action by writing the Michigan Governor and sign a petition. You know I don't ask you to do things like this very often and I would really appreciate it if you would take 5 minutes and check this out. Your involvedment could make a real difference, especially if you will tell others about it, just as I'm telling you.

You might also consider registering with Proving Innocence's site, ProvingInnocence.net. Right now they are primarily focused on Michigan cases, but the are looking to eventually be nation wide!
